Copywriting Tip – Confusing Vocabulary

‘Autograph’ and ‘signature’ – two words often confused by those learning to speak English. In the Netherlands, I’ve had a number of giggles when accepting a package delivered to my house – usually, I’m asked for my ‘autograph’; my head rises and ego is clearly boosted. My response is: ‘Yes, I’ve always wanted to be famous’. Asking for a ‘signature’ in this situation is more appropriate.
